Technology

1. Conditions of performance of works

Perform works in dry weather at a temperature not below +5 C (average daily).

2. Preparation of a site

  • skim soil, align, condense
  • fill a layer of crushed stone of 15-20 cm, align, condense
  • put a polyethylene film with an overlap of 10 cm
  • expose a timbering
  • make reinforcing depending on loading

3. Characteristic of concrete

  • the brand of concrete should not be less than M-300 on artificial сement 400-500 with the plasticizing additive of SP1 or S3
  • mobility of concrete mix is 5-9 cm (P2)
  • at production of concrete we recommend to apply the reinforcing polypropylene fiber (fiber) at the rate of 0,6 kg on 1 m3 which prevents emergence of cracks and improves utilization properties of concrete

Composition of concrete at its preparation on a building site (according to volume):

  • cement PC 400 - 1 part
  • sand with the fineness module not less than 2,2 mm - 3 parts
  • crushed stone (strong breeds) of fraction 5/20 of mm - 3 parts
  • the S-3 plasticizer - 0,5% on solid (give in the form of water solution).

4. Laying of concrete

  • lay out the prepared concrete mix in a timbering
  • distribute, condense evenly with a vibrorail or the deep vibrator, align
  • then roll the concrete surface with the roller, rebuffing at the same time large filler and taking out fine particles (mix of sand and cement) on a surface
  • smooth down a concrete surface by means magnesium bull float for stamped concrete
  • process concrete edges on all perimeter with the hand edger

5. Making of a decorative layer

  • before putting a color hardener make sure that on a surface of concrete there are no excesses of water (the surface of concrete should be opaque)
  • evenly put with method of manual dispersion 70% of a color hardener consumption rate (2,5 kg/sq.m for dark colors and 3,5 kg/sq.m for light colors)
  • smooth down with the magnesium bull float smoothing hammer, process concrete edges
  • scatter the remained 30% of a color hardener, smooth down with the steel fresno trowel
  • process edges with the hand edger
  • before patterning with textural polyurethane forms, the prepared surface needs to be covered (to raise dust) with the color release by means of a brush with long pile, in a thin even layer (consumption of 0,2 kg for 1 sq.m)

6. Patterning by means of textural matrixes

  • patterning of the prepared concrete should be performed immediately while it still gives in to easy clicking of a finger
  • start laying the first textural stamps by moving along all length of a concrete site along timbering.
  • in order to avoid flows densely press stamps to each other, it creates direct lines on joints
  • depending on the plastic hardness of concrete at the time of patterning, it is necessary to press a matrix on all area into concrete clicking by hands, legs or tamper (for uniform distribution of loading on all area)

7. Washing and drawing a protective layer

  • in two days (not less) of solidification of stamped concrete, sweep away surplus of the color release from a surface by means of brushes with long pile
  • wash out a surface with clear water, by means of brushes to clean excesses of the disconnector, if necessary, apply 3% solution of hydrochloric acid
  • apply protective acrylic impregnation on a dry, clean and not hot surface of the washed concrete (opaque surface) or a varnish for a stone and concrete (gloss), by brush, roller, sprayer with an consumption of 150-200 g for 1 sq.m

8. Temperature shrinkable seams

For prevention of formation of uncontrollable shrinkable cracks to saw through seams with the flex with a diamond disk or a floor saw up to 1/3 thickness of the concrete. The thinner the plates are, the closer there have to be seams. Whenever possible plates should be square, as a last resort their length should exceed width no more, than by 1,5 times.

9. Operating conditions.

  • it is possible to walk in 4 hours after drawing of finishing covering -  acrylic impregnation or a varnish for a stone and concrete
  • it is not recommended to load a ready surface in the first 12-14 days (to park a car, carts, etc.), only light pedestrian loading is allowed
  • it is forbidden to use deicing reagents
  • do not use metal objects for removal of sleet and snow
  • update finishing coverings (a varnish or impregnation)  1 time in 2 years to provide initial gloss, to protect from moisture and wear
